Quality Pups due early November

Description:
A repeat breeding between Indy an Bear occurred in early September.

Our dogs have completed their Penn hip evaluation (Indy at 90% and Bear at 82%). These numbers represent that each dog's hips have been rated against other Labs and they have been found their percentage higher than all other x-rayed Labs. A score of 70% is considered acceptable for breeding purposes. Bear has also completed his CERF (eyes - normal) and both are pre-certified for their elbows. These puppies would be dual registered with AKC and UKC. We are asking $500 for chocolate and yellow puppies and $400 for black puppies with full registrations in both AKC and UKC.

We require all perspective puppy owners undergo a screening process. This is to ensure that perspective pet owners are properly prepared for a new family member for the lifetime of the pet.

Indy is a medium sized black lab (70 lbs) who has attained her AKC obedience CD title and Canine Good Citizen designation. She is extremely loving, gentle and eager to please. Her eyes are the window of her soul. She has more of a "standard" lab appearance with the longer legs and blocky head (for a female). Her demeanor captures your heart. Indy's pedigree includes several AKC champions in conformation as well as field trials

Bear is a perfectly proportioned chocolate lab with long legs and a blocky head. His pedigree is exceptional also, with both of his parents titled in field trials. His mother is an exceptionally versatile dog who loves to hunt and then instantly adjusts to coming inside to be a house pet. Bear can be very similar in behavior. Bear currently weighs 76 lbs at his last vet visit. Bear is 3 years old, Indy is 4 years old and this is their second breeding.

All of our adult dogs have completed their obedience training. Our dogs are very loving and have wonderful dispositions. Our goal in breeding is focused towards disposition characteristics (calm, affectionate, well-rounded, versatile.

We offer first puppy shots, vet check, 26 month hip guarantee, worming, socialization with people and other dogs, personality testing, and puppy care package which includes copies of all the parents' paperwork on hand. Lastly, we offer lifetime support for you and your new family member. We are always available to answer questions, offer suggestions to our new families and encourage updates via email (we love seeing new pictures) or telephone (personal visits are wonderful also).

Puppies are raised inside until about 4-5 weeks of age, where they then receive supervised socialization with the other dogs (we have a total of 7 retrievers) and of course, continued socialization from their mother. Our grandchild also offers additional human socialization.
